Arelviq Privacy Policy

Effective 18 October 2026

Arelviq is a symptom journal and wellbeing companion made by Uguralp (Alp) Mavruk, an individual developer ("we"). This policy explains what Arelviq collects, where it is kept, and the choices you have. Questions: arelviqteam@gmail.com.

Arelviq does not diagnose, predict or treat any condition and is not a substitute for medical care.

What Arelviq collects

Your account. You sign in to Arelviq with your email address. We store your email and a random account ID, and use your email only to send you one-time sign-in codes. There are no passwords.

Saved to your Arelviq account (so it survives a new phone):

Kept only on your iPhone:

How documents are read. Health documents are read on your iPhone to find dates and results. They are not sent to any AI service.

What we don't do. Arelviq has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. We don't sell your data or share it for marketing. Apple Health data is never used for advertising and never shared with third parties.

Who processes your data for us

These providers process data only to run Arelviq.

Sharing

Nothing is shared with anyone unless you share it yourself, for example a clinician summary you send from the app.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

Your data is kept until you delete it. Settings → Delete account permanently removes your account, everything saved to it, your uploaded document files, and your Oura connection. Data kept only on your iPhone is removed when you delete the app. We currently keep no database backups; if we add them, deleted data will disappear from backups within 7 days.

You can also pause Apple Health or Oura in Settings and choose whether to keep or delete what was imported.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and each account can reach only its own data.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by emailing arelviqteam@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days. If you live in the EU, UK or another region with data-protection laws, you may also have the right to object, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

Arelviq is not intended for children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
